This is always an exciting race at Galway as it proved last year with an Aiden O'Brien winner in Viceroy Of India, the race itself is over 1m 4f and for those horses that are yet to win their first race on the track. Dermot Weld will no doubt have a strong hand in this one as he always does over in Galway and his horses should be watched closely.

The Aidan O'Brien trained Viceroy Of india upset the punters applecart by winning this maiden in pulsating style from red hot favourite, Sublime Talent. Ridden brilliantly by Johnny Murtagh Viceroy Of India took up the running from the start and was never headed, despite a huge challenge from the favourite at the end. It was the second winner of the week fat the Festival or the Ballydoyle team who are proving that they are in great form. Third was outsider, La Soie.

2010 Galway Races Free £100 From Paddy Power
The Galway Festival is probably the best attended racing festival in all of Ireland, with approximately 250,000 people attending over its seven day duration.
