Guinness Handicap Hurdle 2010 - Day Five Race One
Day Five of Galway kicks off later in the day once again to give us another evening of excellent twilight racing, first up is this good looking Guinness Handicap Hurdle over 2m 2f. There will be a packed crowd in on this Friday Evening at Galway and this will be an excellent start to the nights sport with this hotly contested renewal.
Kalellshan had a good run earlier in the week and has a good chance of another tonight, the opening race looks like a tight race with plenty of value about for punters.

2009 Result
It was the reserve horse, Back Me Up, trained by Christie Roche and ridden by son Paul who won this dour, punishing race with odds of 11/1. He was always prominent but was the one with the most in the tank after they jumped the last. He was too strong on the run in and won by 5 lengths from the tired Rainbow Dash with Sharadi back in third. It was the first 2009 Festival winner for well known owner JP McManus.
