Guinness Storehouse NH Flat Race 2011 (2m) - Cairdin bags Mullins a double

Cairdin bagged trainer Margaret Mullins her second winner of the day with a gutsy win in the final contest of day four of the Galway Festival. Pushed along by Paddy Mullins from a long way out the five-year-old continued to find a little bit for his jockey and he managed to pull away from the second-placed Law Rebel by four lengths to notch another winner for favourite backers.

2009 Race

Nina Carberry riding Bay Central for trainer, John Brennan won this very competitive bumper in fine style. She rode the horse prominently throughout tracking leader and favourite, Buoy George all the way. Once the favourite started to tire Bay Central hit the front and held off the challenge from Ballyvoile in the run in. Third was Graceful Composer.
