Day One Race One

Meyrick Novice Hurdle - Day One Race One 2010

The first race of the 2010 Galway Festival is always one that everyone wants to win and that includes the punters, it is a novice Hurdle race for horses aged four years only and is always a competitive renewal. Last year we saw a win for Moonlight Sapphire who came in as a 6/1 shot with a strong showing.

Fingal Rock looks like taking favouritism into the first race of the 2010 Galway Festival, he is a top horse that ran well last time out at Bellowstwon in finishing second. He was beaten that day by Jerrys Agent and he is also being well backed with punters, he ran well that day and looks to be improving.
