Day Seven Race Eight

FR.Breen Memorial NH Flat Race 2011 (2m) - 18 entered for final race of meeting

The final race of the Galway Festival has attracted 18 runners at the entries stage with some smart sorts likely to contest the 2m contest.  Loosen My Load won this back in 2009, so it should serve up some future stars.

Blase Chevalier is an eyecatching entry for Seamus Mullins, whilst Blossom Gate is another stand out entry for the in-form John Kiely.

2009 Result

It was Nina Carberry riding Loosen My Load who brought the final curtain down on the 2009 Galway Festival winning a good race from the Jigsaw Man and Dancers Dilemma. It was a good quality race with several of the leading fancies running well but the most talked about horse before the race Bold Buccaneer failed to get a place.
