The fifth race on the card for this final day of the 2010 Galway Festival will be this good looking Maiden Fillies race over 1 m 4f and it should be yet another cracking renewal. It is open to three-year-old fillies who are yet to win a race so we should see a decent open race for punters.

Young Lochinvar running for the second time at the meeting was too strong for the opposition in this competitive Handicap over 7 furlongs. Always prominent, Young Lochinvar took up the running before the final bend and won with some ease from the fast finishing Spavento and Rock Critic who had to settle for the minor placings.
