Cheestrings Handicap 2010 - Day Six Race Five
The 2 mile Cheestrings Handicap is the fifth race on the card for Day Six of the 2010 Galway meeting and looks like yet another exciting renewal for the Summer Meeting. The horses have to be aged four or older and we should see a good field in this one with the odds expected to be very competitive as always.
2009 Result
Cybersnow could have been named winner of this race half a mile from home as he won as he liked after being well poised throughout the race. The 10 length victory could have been more emphatic but jockey Shane Foley, riding his second winner of the day eased him down before the line. Top weight Omas Glen ran well enough to be second while Monahullah Prince grabbed third place.
- 1st Cybersnow, S Fahey, S Foley, 6/1
- 2nd Omas Glen, C Ross, F Berry, 16/1
- 3rd Monahullah Prince, G Keane, D Mullins, 14/1
