There is every indication that this was a decent National Hunt race and another Weld winner who just managed to get the better of Something different in the final furlong.

2009 Result

Dermot Weld who has been unlucky over the last two days returned to winning ways when his highly promising Natural High won this competitive Bumper. He did give his supporters a scare in the final furlong when he veered right across the track but jockey, Robbie McNamara soon had him settled and running strongly to win with some comfort. Second was a very fast finishing Apt Manor, trained by Willie Mullins who should be one for the notebook as he certainly has a bumper win within him. Third was favourite Sparkling Tara.
