Tote Handicap Hurdle Day Three Race Two 2010
Race Two on the card of Day Three is this nice looking Handicap Hurdle sponsored by Tote, it is a race over 2 miles for the handicapped horses and we should be in for a thrilling race. As a handicap it will offer some good value for punters as it did last year with a 12/1 winner, the bookamkers where the winners in that race with Steve Capall coming in and they will be hoping for a similar success in 2010.
This year there are a number of horses with good chances and they include First Beauty and Mr Bones who are both coming off of good wins recently, they are being well backed and should have every chance of going close.

2009 Result
Following a terrific tussle it was Steve Capall who got his nose in front at the end winning by a short head from the very game and tough The Rebel Returns. It was probably the best race of the week so far with both horses giving everything at the end. It was the first win at the meeting for Noel Meade and for jockey Paul Carberry.
Present Gem went off favourite but never featured. Third was Valley Of Giants and fourth Armeramak.
- 1st Steve Capall, N Meade, P Carberry, 12/1
- 2nd The Rebel Returns, M Morris, N Madden, 14/1
- 3rd Valley Of Giants, J Harrington, A Leigh, 14/1
- 4th Armaramak, E O’Grady, A McNamara, 9/1
