Race five on the card for 2010 is this excellent fillies maiden race over 7 furlong for two-year old fillies, it is often a stepping stone for bigger things for these young horses so it is always worth watching. Last year we saw Aiden O'Brien claim the win with Devoted To You so it often attracts the very best trainers and names to the race.

The Aidan O’Brien horse, Devoted To You hosed up in this quality maiden winning by an emphatic 8-10 lengths and brushing aside the challenge of the hot favourite, Brushed Aside from the Dermot Weld yard. In winning Devoted To You confirmed earlier season form when she had Brushed Aside behind her over six furlongs, but this victory was far more emphatic and it got the Ballydoyle stable off the mark at the Festival. Third was Akdarena trained by Jim Bolger

2010 Galway Races Free £100 From Paddy Power
The Galway Festival is probably the best attended racing festival in all of Ireland, with approximately 250,000 people attending over its seven day duration.
