Dermot Weld made it three winners on the night when his hot favourite, Qassaar held off a stern challenge from debutant, My Blue Heaven to win the final race of the second evening at the Galway Festival.
Qassaar took up the running almost from the start and was never headed but was all out at the end to win. Third home was Zeruth, but there was no place for the well backed Morethanafeeling.
