Galway Festival 2012 Day 5
Day five of the Galway Festival always attracts a bumper crowd as the weekend approaches and starting in the early evening many travel to Ballybrit after a hard week's work.
The highlight comes in the middle of the card when the Guinness Handicap takes centre stage and in 2012 runners will be looking to emulate Clare Glen, who won last year for Sarah Dawson.
A seven race card provides some top notch jumping action along with some quality flat racing to all-in-all give a wonderful Friday night's entertainment.

Day five on Friday evening at the Galway festival is one of the better evenings, it is seriously well attended and a real party spirit develops generated by the live bands, the guinness and the oysters.
