Galway Festival 2013 Day 5
Dermot Weld's Olympiad finally broke his maiden tag last time out and the Rosewell House inmate will look to follow that victory up with another success in what looks a cracking renewal of the Guinness Handicap at 6:50pm on Friday night.
However, there will be some potential classy contenders lining up for hte 1m 4f conest with Aidan O'Brien's Chicago looking a likely adversary, whilst the likes of Clarach, who finished third earlier in the week and Paddy The Celeb add great depth to the contest.

Day five on Friday evening at the Galway festival is one of the better evenings, it is seriously well attended and a real party spirit develops generated by the live bands, the guinness and the oysters. There is something for everyone on Friday evening at the Festival and is always made that much better by nabbing a winner or two, esspecially at good prices in the Galway odds, in the process, particularly if they have been backed using one of our Galway Festival Free Bet Offers. We were in very successful tipping form last year, tipping three winners on the Friday plus we suggested Glitter Baby as an each way chance. Like last year we will provide tips each and every day at the Galway festival and if you would like to see or take our advice look at the Galway Festival Tips for todays selections.
