Galway Mile

Topaz Galway Mile Handicap 2010

The feature race on day two at the 2010 Galway Festival is the mile race sponsored by Topaz and it will be the highlight of the evening, there is big money on offer for the winners here which makes it an attractive race for the top trainers and jockeys. The draw bias should be watched closely earlier in the meeting as that could well play a part in this one, last year the winner was Rock And Roll Kid off of a low draw that picked up the win.

Rock And Roll Kid is back this year and will be a danger as he looks to defend his title, he will not have it easy though in a tough looking field. The likes of Mujaazef and If Per Chance who are having good seasons and should have every chance of going well in the Galway Mile.
