Galway Festival Day 3
Galway Festival day 3 racing is sponsored by William Hills and takes place in the afternoon, those sporting hangovers from the night before ought to prepare themselves for a much earlier start! The day sees one of the big races of the meeting, the renowned Galway Plate, a race synonymous with Galway Festival history. There will be much ante-post activity concerning the Galway Plate odds of this race and punters are advised to monitor any Galway Plate media reports and to take advantage of any Galway Plate Free bet offer. Last year the race was won by one of our Galway Festival tips for the race, Oslot, who won in fine style and at the great Galway 2009 odds at 7/1. He is trained in England by Paul Nicholls and was ridden by Ruby Walsh.
