2012 Galway Festival Top Jockey Odds

The Galway Festival is unique in so many ways, it is a long week with seven days of racing to look forward and there is a good mix of both national hunt and flat racing.  The jockeys in particular are facing a long week with many of them looking forward to ride after ride, with that in mind there is an excellent betting market about who will be the Top Jockey this year.

With Dermot Weld training an unprecedented 17 winners at the 2011 Galway Festival, it was no surprise to see two of his stable jockeys at the top of the leading jockey standings.  Pat Smullen was an emphatic winner of the flat jockey title, whilst Robbie McNamara took the jump jockeys title for another Rosewell house success.
